San Diego

After 56 hours of packing, travelling and not sleeping, arriving in San Diego to this bed felt amazing...

Zoo's don't always have the greatest of reputations. I'm not an expert but this one was pretty amazing.

First time surfing outside of Ireland. The waves were far from all time but following them up with a California burrito is thoroughly recommended. (Check the link. They are amazing. We may have had a couple now...)

San Diego Harbour. They do like their warships!

Kate and our wonderful host Maryann. First time I've ever had sushi and it certainly won't be the last! (Note from Kate: these were well sourced sustainable fishies :) woop woop!)

San Diego, you've been wonderful. Next stop San Francisco!
